Reward in Nancy Guthrie Case Now Up to $200,000 A major new reward has just been added in the search for 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie, who disappeared from her Tucson home more than two weeks ago under suspicious circumstances. According to reports and official statements from Crime Stoppers, Milwaukee attorney Michael Hupy has pledged an additional $100,000 for information leading to an arrest. That reward is being offered through Crime Stoppers and is separate from the $100,000 already announced by the FBI — bringing the total possible reward to $200,000. The Crime Stoppers reward allows tipsters to remain completely anonymous while still being eligible for payment if their information results in charges. Hupy is president of Milwaukee Crime Stoppers, but this reward will be administered locally through Crime Stoppers of Tucson. The FBI has confirmed the investigation remains active. Authorities continue pursuing leads, conducting forensic analysis, and interviewing individuals connected to the case. Anyone with information can contact the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers. Nancy is still missing. #NancyGuthrie #BringNancyHome #BreakingNews #TrueCrime #MissingPerson #CrimeStoppers #FBI #RewardIncreased #ArizonaNews #JusticeForNancy

🚨 SHERIFF FIRES BACK: “WE DID OUR JOB” AS NANCY GUTHRIE CASE INTENSIFIES Sheriff Responds to Criticism Over Investigation Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos is pushing back against criticism over how his department handled the investigation into the disappearance of 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie. In a recent interview with the Daily Mail, Nanos addressed claims that deputies left the crime scene too early or failed to thoroughly process the property before the FBI became involved. The sheriff strongly disagreed with that narrative. According to Nanos, his officers were at Guthrie’s home for nearly 20 hours, collecting evidence and fully processing the scene before federal agents conducted their own follow-up search. He stated that his department completed its responsibilities and that the FBI later “did their thing” as part of the joint effort. Nanos also shared that his brother passed away the day after Nancy was reported missing — at the same time national media descended on Tucson to cover the case. Nancy Guthrie, the mother of TODAY show host Savannah Guthrie, was taken from her Tucson home on February 1. The FBI has since released doorbell camera footage showing a masked individual wearing gloves and carrying a backpack outside Nancy’s home. Investigators recently confirmed that DNA was recovered from a glove believed to match the one worn by the person captured on video. That DNA profile is expected to be run through the national CODIS database to determine whether it matches a known offender. The investigation remains active. #NancyGuthrie #BreakingNews #TrueCrime #BringNancyHome #FBIUpdate #ArizonaNews #ColdCaseOrNot #JusticeForNancy #CrimeScene #DeathLiesAlibis

🚨 EXCLUSIVE: NEW MONEY DEMAND IN NANCY GUTHRIE CASE According to TMZ, a third email has now been received from the man claiming he knows the identity of Nancy Guthrie’s kidnapper — and the price just changed. He says he doesn’t trust law enforcement. So instead, he’s using TMZ as the middleman. In the message, he suggests the FBI doubling the reward to $100,000 was meant “to discredit” him. Originally, he demanded 1 Bitcoin — roughly $68,000 — in exchange for the name and location of the alleged kidnapper. Now? He wants the full $100,000 reward — but structured in two payments. He’s asking for $50,000 in Bitcoin up front. In return, he says he’ll release the name. Then he expects the remaining $50,000 after an arrest is made. He claims he won’t withdraw the first payment until the suspect is taken into custody. There’s another shift in tone. He now says he will reveal the name of the “main individual.” Main individual. That wording raises eyebrows — because it suggests more than one person may be involved. He also references Nancy’s current condition in the email. We’re not going into specifics. What we will say is this — Every time money enters a case like this, the lines get blurry. Is this someone with real information? Or someone trying to exploit a national story? Law enforcement will have to determine that quickly. Because if this is legitimate, time matters. And if it’s not — it’s dangerous distraction. 🚨 KIDNAPPING INVESTIGATION INTENSIFIES Sheriff Chris Nanos is pushing back on a lot of the online chatter after his interview with Fox News reporter Matt Finn — and he addressed several rumors head-on in the investigation into Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance. Here’s what he confirmed. DNA was recovered inside Nancy’s home. Nancy’s blood was found outside the residence. What he did not confirm — whether the DNA inside was blood, whether there was forced entry, or which door may have been used. And let’s talk about the rumor that’s been everywhere. The glove. Sheriff Nanos was direct: “There is no glove. We never found a glove on that property.” As for evidence handling, he explained that from day one, everything has been sent to a private lab they’ve worked with for years — a lab that already has Guthrie family DNA on file. He said it made more sense to keep it centralized rather than split testing between labs. And according to him, the FBI agreed with that decision. He also denied any friction with federal authorities. No rift. No turf war. He says agencies are working together, and the FBI took the lead on analyzing the ransom notes because that’s their specialty. Right now, investigators believe this is a kidnapping — but they are still evaluating all possibilities. He also addressed the Rio Rico man who was briefly detained. According to the Sheriff, that individual was a delivery driver who happened to be in the area, and investigators are satisfied with his alibi. And one more thing — the deputy vehicles parked outside the home? That’s at the family’s request for security. Not a new development in the case. Sheriff Nanos made it clear: the Guthrie family is cooperating fully, and no one should be accused without evidence. This is still an active investigation. And speculation doesn’t solve cases.
