Barnegat Light’s turtle rescue comes with a twist

A green sea turtle got a lucky break in Barnegat Light after being found stranded in a tide pool—just in time before the water disappeared. What made this rescue even more memorable? The turtle had a juvenile remora fish hitching a ride on its shell! Both the turtle and its unexpected passenger were checked out and released safely back into the ocean.
