Heather Sheppard+FollowA walk in the park turned into a painful lesson about waspsSaw the guy being bad luck! He was just enjoying a nice walk, and he got stung by a wasp. It was incredibly painful! What was even scarier is how quickly he started to swell up. At the time this guy didn't have health insurance, so the ER wasn't really an option. He took some Benadryl, hoping for the best, and thankfully, the swelling eventually went down, but it took a good two weeks. The whole ordeal made him realize something important: He is allergic to wasps. Apparently, this kind of allergy is known to get worse with every exposure and can lead to anaphylaxis, which can be life-threatening. Next time he should definitely get an EpiPen. And if anyone else out there has had a similar experience or suspects they might be allergic to stinging insects, please take it seriously! It's always better to be safe than sorry. #AllergyAwareness #WaspStingAllergy #BeeSting #EpiPen #HealthTips #PersonalStory #SafetyFirst #Health #AllergyAlert111Share
