Regret Not Starting Sooner: My Backyard Transformation in Seattle
So, I might have jumped the gun on this one, but I'm loving the results! What started as a simple plan to pave a small path for trash can convenience turned into a full backyard overhaul. I ended up with a gorgeous patio, a new vegetable bed, and a sidewalk—all for 11,500(plus a 200 tip, because you gotta tip your crew, right?).
I sourced some amazing tiles from Home Depot that I haven't found elsewhere; they lighten up and smooth out once laid down. The crew I hired, all from a local family business, were absolute stars—super professional and detail-oriented. They even managed to work around my yard's slope and my last-minute decision to expand the area without batting an eye at the extra work.
Now, I'm a bit worried about my sprinklers—are they doomed under all this new paving? Any sprinkler-savvy folks out there know if I'm about to flood my yard or worse, cause a pipe explosion?
Big thanks to my amazing crew for an incredible job! If you're in Seattle and need some backyard magic, hit up their brother too—they do walls too!
