Why do we ignore the time a witch literally summoned a dead prophet? 📖

I always thought séances and psychics were either complete scams or just psychological tricks. But 1 Samuel 28 completely shatters that comfortable illusion. King Saul goes to the Witch of Endor to contact the dead prophet Samuel. Pastors usually skip over the craziest part: it actually worked. But the witch didn't do it. The text shows the witch herself shrieked in absolute terror when Samuel appeared, because she realized she wasn't in control—God actually permitted Samuel's spirit to return to deliver a terrifying final judgment on Saul. The spiritual realm is not a joke. Darkness is real, and meddling with the occult is playing with live ammunition. Thank God we have the Holy Spirit to guide us, so we never have to seek answers in the dark. #SpiritualRealm #BibleMysteries #Truth #HolyCuriosity

Why do we pretend the Bible doesn't mention fire-breathing monsters? I was reading through the end of Job, where God is reminding Job of His raw power. Pastors usually tell us the "Leviathan" mentioned in chapter 41 is just poetic imagery for a crocodile. But read the actual text! It explicitly says its sneezes flash forth light, and flames literally stream from its mouth. Its flesh is like impenetrable armor. God is describing a literal, terrifying apex predator-essentially a dragon- that existed alongside early man, one that only the Creator could tame. We try to domesticate the Bible to fit modern sensibilities, but the ancient world was full of awe and terror. Remembering that our God holds monstrous, chaotic beasts on a leash gives me an entirely new level of peace about my own problems today. #Leviathan #BookOfJob #BibleMysteries #BiblicalHistory

Whv does no one talk about Genesis 6 in Sunday School? I was diving deep into the early chapters of Genesis, and I hit a wall that no pastor ever seemed to explain to me The "sons of God" and the "daughters of men." The Nephilim. We've been told it was just the godly line of Seth marrying the ungodly line of Cain. But looking at the priginal Hebrew texts, it implies somethinc much darker--a literal, physical corruption of the human bloodline by fallen beings Noah's flood wasn't just about people being "mean" to each other; it was God hitting the reset button to save the human genome so the Messiah could be born. The enemy's plans are ancient and far more sinister than we realize. But it brings me peace knowing that God's sovereignty outmaneuvers the darkness every singletime. #Nephilim #SpiritualWarfare #Genesis6 #BibleMysteries
