Last week, a relative of mine passed away, so I rushed home to attend the funeral. Due to the distance, we decided to leave the kitten at home and made sure it had plenty of water and food. The day before yesterday, we finished everything and rushed home. For the past two days, I don't know what's wrong, but I've been feeling extremely tired and listless. The kitten isn't as clingy as it used to be and is particularly resistant to my affection. At night, I could sometimes hear its cries, which were not at all cute but rather unsettling. I wonder if you’ve ever heard such cries (they were particularly piercing, like the wails of an abandoned infant).
