I heard a bang on a dirt road and now my car is missing a piece. Needed a pro ASAP.

I was driving out on a slightly rocky dirt road when I hit a major dip and had to swerve a bit to make a U-turn. Right after that little maneuver, I heard a thunk and saw something fall off the back of the car. I did not get any warning lights come on, and I drove another 30 miles to reach the town where I am staying for the night. The car seems to be driving completely fine, but I still had a quick look underneath. It looks like it came off a missing plastic section in the undercarriage near the back. I did not see any vital looking mechanical pieces missing from the area, just that one section of plastic. Please tell me what exactly this piece is and how concerned should I be about driving another long distance tomorrow😑😂 #CarTrouble #MechanicHelp #AutoRepair #CarAdvice #Cars

My mechanic says my rusted brake lines are fine. But I'm still terrified

I am in a really tough spot and would appreciate some advice. I am currently in Michigan and need to get back to New York, which is about an 11-hour drive. My 2003 Buick Regal has less than 50k miles on it and just passed all its inspections, except for one thing. The mechanic says I have rusted brake lines, but he says there are no leaks or seepage and that he would drive it himself. The thing is, I'm still nervous about driving that far with them and having a leak happen halfway through the trip. My options are to ship the car home for $700, get a rush repair here for $2,000, or try to get it home and fixed in New York for about $1,000. I'm so stressed out over this decision. What would you do in my situation? #CarRepair #RoadTrip #HelpNeeded #CarAdvice #Cars

Just Moved to Florida. Need a Reliable, Four-Seat Convertible Under $30K. Ideas?

I just moved down to South Florida after leaving NYC, and for the first time ever, getting a convertible actually makes sense. I figure now is the time to finally buy one. This will be my main car, and I drive about 40 miles every day for work, so it needs to be pretty reliable. I need it to be an automatic because I cannot drive stick, and I need four actual seats since I take my dogs on road trips sometimes. I'm a pretty tall guy, 6'1", and also kind of large, so finding comfort can be difficult in smaller cars. I tried a rental Mustang convertible once, and it was fine, but I would really prefer something you do not see everywhere. My budget goes up to $30,000. I do not need any fancy technology. Just a reliable car with a drop top, four seats, and a radio I can plug my phone into. Does anyone have a good idea for a reliable, comfortable, four-seat convertible that is not super common and fits my $30,000 budget? #CarAdvice #Convertible #FloridaCars #BuyingACar #Under30K #ReliableCars
