ksanchez+FollowWhy Cars Love That Shiny Black TrimEver wondered why your car’s interior has that glossy, fingerprint-magnet black trim? Turns out, automakers picked piano black because it looks super fancy in showrooms and matches everything—plus, it’s way cheaper to make than real luxury finishes. But the downside? Every smudge and scratch shows up, so you’re stuck cleaning it constantly. Now, brands are ditching it for cozier vibes. Are you team shiny or over the smudge struggle? #Cars #CarOwnership #CarDesign00Share

Travis Baker MD+FollowCar Interior Fails We’re All Tired OfWhy do new cars keep making the same annoying mistakes inside? From ditching the classic speedometer to those useless slider controls and fingerprint-magnet piano black trim, it feels like automakers are trying too hard to be futuristic. Touchscreens for everything? No thanks—I just want to change the temp without playing hide-and-seek. And don’t get me started on weird shifters. William Jones+Follow1950s Cars: The OG TrendsettersEver notice how even the newest SUVs and EVs have a little retro flair? That’s no accident—designers are still obsessed with the bold, dramatic looks of 1950s cars. larsontiffany+FollowToyota’s Century Coupe Glow-Up!The Toyota Century Coupe just got a digital makeover, and wow—ditching those SUV vibes for a low, sleek coupe look is a total game-changer. No more awkward proportions or chunky wheel arches—now it’s giving major Rolls-Royce energy. The wildest part? There’s only one seat in the back, so you’re basically getting chauffeured in style. patrick16+FollowThe dumbest-looking cars of all time (according to me)Some cars are beautiful, some are functional, some are just ugly… and then there are cars that just look plain dumb. No reason. Fine there are still some reasons: 1️⃣ Amber Russian EV – A face only a tadpole could love. 2️⃣ Fiat Multipla – Like no adults were involved in the design process!! What are you, toy? 3️⃣ Youabian Puma – Honestly, the default answer to this question. 4️⃣ Gen 2 Dodge Durango – The back is fine, but that front end is like a French Bulldog with an underbite. 5️⃣ 1958–60 Dodge Trucks – Trucks with fins, tongues sticking out, and a general “What were they thinking?” vibe. Cars can be “so stupid they’re ugly” or “so ugly they’re stupid,” and these definitely fall into one (or both) categories. Which ones would you add to the list? 😂😂 #CarDesign #UglyCars #CarTalk #AutoHistory #Cars 7936Share
