My Cat: The Unexpected Retriever
Never thought I'd be playing fetch with a CAT, but here we are. My little void Luna doesn't just fetch – she's obsessive about it. Toss a hair tie across the room at 3 AM? There she goes, thundering after it like her life depends on it, then proudly dropping it on my face while I'm trying to sleep.
She's even trained ME – I now unconsciously throw things for her entertainment. Yesterday, I accidentally tossed my car keys, and she dragged them back, looking ridiculously pleased with herself. My dog-person friends are bewildered when they visit.
'That's... not normal cat behavior,' they say, watching her retrieve bottle caps, socks, and occasionally my dignity.
Anyone else with these canine-coded felines? Or did I accidentally adopt a dog in a cat costume?
