When Did Your Child Start Noticing the Opposite Gender?
My oldest is just about six, and lately, I’ve been surprised by how curious he’s become about girls. The other day, he was playing at his cousin’s house and couldn’t stop giggling over her dolls missing their clothes. When I asked if he wanted to dress them, he grinned and said, “No, I like them like this!”
Then, this morning, I caught him peeking at some vintage stickers with cartoon girls that I keep for crafts. When I asked what caught his eye, he simply shrugged and said, “I just like girls, I guess.”
