It seems like I never have enough time money, or energy to face my daily battles. Then I reread the story of Gideon. He was already terrified, facing an army of 135,000 Midianites. He managed to scrape together 32,000 men. But God essentially said, "That's too many." God systematically stripped Gideon's resources down to iust 300 men. God literally orchestrated a mathematical impossibility Why? So that when the victory came, Israel couldn't boast that their own strength saved them. If you feel completely outmatched and under-resourced right now, you might be exactly where God wants you. He is setting the stage so that His grace is the only explanation for your survival.
