Nervous to Ask in Class? Here’s How I Do It!
Let’s be real—asking questions in class can feel SO intimidating! 😅 I used to worry I’d sound silly or forget my words. But I’ve learned a few tricks that make it way easier. Here’s what works for me:
• I wait for the right moment—usually when the teacher invites questions or pauses.
• I raise my hand (no wild waving 🙈) and keep it up until I’m noticed.
• If I’m still not seen, I politely say, “Excuse me,” or use the teacher’s name.
• Before asking, I check my notes or textbook—sometimes the answer’s right there!
• When I do ask, I keep it short and specific. Like, “What year did the French Revolution start?”
• I speak up so everyone can hear, but I don’t shout.
• If I have lots of questions, I save them for after class or send an email. (Total lifesaver for shy days!)
Honestly, the more I ask, the easier it gets. And chances are, someone else is wondering the same thing! ❤️
