The Pickup Line That Left Seniors Empty-Handed

Yesterday at the free food pickup outside our community supermarket, I saw something that honestly made everyone angry. A black pickup truck pulled right to the entrance and the driver told volunteers he was “in a rush.” They actually let him cut the entire line and grab two full boxes of meat and produce. The seniors who had waited an hour just stared in disbelief. One older woman with a cane whispered, “I only needed a bag of potatoes.” Everyone looked frustrated, but nobody wanted to cause a scene.
