I Don’t Own a Lot of Contour—but Here’s What I Think

I’m not a contour hoarder. I skip the hype and stick to what I’ll actually use. Here’s my honest take on what I’ve tried: 🟫 Kevyn Aucoin Medium – A cult classic for a reason… just not for my face. Way too deep for my pale skin. 🟫 Kevyn Aucoin Light – The tone confuses me every time. Not warm, not cool—just weird. 🟡 Dior 100 – More yellow than I expected. Darker too. Surprisingly wearable, but I don’t reach for it much. 🌸 Lunasol Dual Blush 03 – Not really contour. One side has a reddish-purple shimmer. Pretty, but it’s more highlighter than shadow. ✨ RMK Holiday 2021 – Shade 02 – Stunning. Subtle sheen, dreamy color. Sad it’s limited edition. 🤎 &be Seamless Beige – So easy to apply. Olive-Skin Approved: My Go-To Contours Ranked & Roasted 🪞🌿

If you’re olive-toned like me (still no idea if I’m warm or cool btw—just vibes), here’s a quick rundown of the gray-taupe contour shades I’ve tested, hit pan on, and maybe hoarded a little too hard: ✨ Sephora #35 – My forever love. Been through THREE pans of this one. The new version (01) picks up better and still works like a charm for nose contour. It does lean a tiny bit purple on my cheeks though. 🧊 Bbia #12 – First time trying K-beauty contour. Super fine powder, looks the most gray in the pan. Haven’t tested on face yet, but fingers crossed. 🪄 Shellwe – Instant fave! The trio palette is so well-balanced—cool-toned gray-browns that actually look sculpted, not muddy. Some say it’s “not gray enough”… Girl, it’s plenty gray on me. Long-wear too! 🤍 Perfect Diary – The neutral, everyday classic. Still love, still reliable. 💧 Sheglam Soft Tan – A cult-fave for olive skin, but tbh? A bit too light for side contour IMO. Gorgeous tone though. #beauty #makeup #contourreview
