I used to think letting my dog on the sofa would ruin everything. But after a few months, I realized it’s just more fun with her snuggled next to me. Sure, there’s more fur to clean, but the cuddles are worth it. I keep a blanket on the couch just for her and vacuum a little more often. Training her to wait for an invite took some patience, but treats helped a lot. Now, she knows when it’s chill time and when it’s not. Sharing the sofa has made our bond stronger.
