The newly opened Marugame noodle house in the San Ramon City Center is a discovery I wish I'd made sooner! Nikutama is a signature dish you gotta try, with thick udon noodles, fatty beef with a sweet glaze, and a soft egg, sprinkled with loads of tempura bits and spring onions - stir it all up and it's a meal the whole family is gonna love! This time I switched it up a bit and tried the Curry Nikutama, which is the Nikutama but with added curry sauce. It's a lot saltier, so you def need a cold Coke to balance it out!
Other than the noodles, Salt Straw ice cream is another must-try at the City Center. Found out they have ice cream made specially for dogs, with ingredients like apples, carrots, and sweet potatoes, considering bringing my golden retriever next time!
