The center of the screen is at eye level when we sit on the couch so it is technically in the perfect spot. But for some reason it just looks odd. It feels like the TV is hovering awkwardly close to the console. I am just trying to figure out if it is worth asking our handyman to come back out to raise it a few inches. I love cars, but I'll also agree that any sort of burble tune is annoying to a non-enthusiast. Hell, it's even annoying to an enthusiast depending on the scenario!!! I've been building race cars since 2009, and these pop/burble tunes genuinely annoy the heck out of me. Most proper racing tunes actually shut off aggressive anti-lag features under 4k RPM to save the turbo. I guess making those noises is just about the worst driver behavior to me.
