I just did the math on the "Legion" of demons and I actually have chills 😳

I've heard the story of Jesus casting the demons into the pigs a million times. It always felt a little bizarre, to be honest. But I stopped and actually looked at the military terminology used in Mark 5 today. The spirits called themselves "Legion." A Roman Legion consisted of up to 6,000 highly trained, heavily armed soldiers. When Jesus cast them out, they entered a herd of about 2,000 pigs. This man wasn't just struggling with his mental health or a single bad spirit. His body was literally hosting a massive, organized military battalion of darkness. Thousands of them. And Jesus didn't do a long, drawn-out exorcism. He didn't break a sweat. He spoke a single word of permission, and an entire army of hell fled in absolute terror.
