Douglass Hurricanes stun Mumford with Ali-inspired swagger

Detroit Douglass just handed Mumford their first loss of the season, and it wasn’t luck—it was pure confidence and hustle. Coach Pierre Brooks Sr. brought Muhammad Ali’s legendary self-belief into practice, and the team carried that energy straight onto the court. Even with star Joshua Brooks sidelined, Douglass played fast, broke Mumford’s press, and saw big games from Kamari Howard (26 points) and freshman Damani Oliver (25 points).
