Jade Palace in Dimond District closed for upgrades

Jade Palace, a go-to spot for Chinese takeout in Oakland’s Dimond District, has been temporarily closed by county health inspectors because of outdated kitchen equipment. If you’ve been craving their chow mein or dumplings, you’ll have to wait a bit longer—management says they’re waiting on new machines (including an ice maker) to meet health standards.
