My dog has always struggled with trust, making it tough for her to make new friends. But yesterday, I surprised her with a special trip—two hours in the car to visit her old buddies! Five months ago, due to work commitments, I had to relocate her (and myself) three cities away from her familiar pack. It’s been tough on her; she’s a social butterfly at heart but has found it hard to connect with new dogs since the move. The reunion was heartwarming. She instantly recognized her old friends and started playing like no time had passed. It reminded me how important social bonds are for her happiness.
