Grandma’s handmade magic lights up Downriver

Sheila, an 82-year-old grandma from Taylor, has spent her entire year crocheting 29 unique stuffed animals for local kids in need. Despite living with arthritis, she pours her heart into every stitch, making everything from Baby Yoda to colorful dragons. Her creations will brighten Christmas mornings for families across 11 Downriver communities and Detroit, where requests for help are at a 30-year high.
