Terric Higgins+FollowIs it cruel punishment to those that get SNAP benefits in some states for them to no longer be able to buy snacks and soda? Under the guidance of the HHS he now wants to make America healthy again. He claims that these recipients are only buying junk food and it’s destroying children and adults health. Do you think the government should stay out of people’s lives or do you agree that these recipients are not using their benefits appropriately and it should be managed? #EBTBenefitsWoes #EBTBenefits #SnacksAndDrinks 150317Share
Amanda+FollowThanksgiving Done successfully all thanks to walmart voucherThanksgiving almost didn’t happen for me this year. Prices were ridiculous, SNAP wasn’t stretching at all, and everything I needed for dinner felt way out of my budget. I was honestly ready to give up on the whole holiday because it felt impossible to afford. Walmart ended up saving the day for me. Between the cheaper swaps, last-minute deals, and a little extra help I wasn’t expecting, I managed to pull a real Thanksgiving meal together. If you’re struggling with groceries too, I added something in my bio that helped me get through it. Use it if you need it. #Thanksgiving2025 #WalmartFinds #WalmartFinds #HolidayShopping #GroceryHacks #BudgetLife #SNAPStruggles #EBTBenefitsWoes #RealLifeParenting #HolidayShopping #FamilyDinner #StretchYourGroceries2211Share
Marly D+FollowI see so many people posting about SNAP and here’s the thing, after YEARS of seeing them complain about non white immigrants and yelling “AMERICA FIRST!” And “We have to feed Americans before helping others” Now, when the conversation is about doing that- Guess What? They don’t want to do that either!! Republicans are talking so much shit about their fellow Americans who need help. Turns out They really can’t stand anyone. Vote these assholes out next year!#SNAP #EBTBenefitsWoes #trumpSucks#VoteBlue #SNAPBenefits #SNAPLife #SNAPTalk00Share
Smokahontis Will Smoke U Out+FollowFederal courts ordered the federal administration to continue paying for SNAP (food stamps) during the government shutdown. IDHS and the State of Illinois are reviewing these orders. SNAP benefits remain on hold by the federal government for November until further notice or order by the courts. Even if the courts order payment, it is uncertain how long it will take for SNAP payments to be made. Benefits from months prior to November can still be used. IDHS will keep customers updated on this evolving situation. Currently, the federal shutdown is not impacting CCAP, WIC, Medicaid, Early Intervention, and TANF through November 2025 for current IDHS customers. These regularly scheduled benefits will continue to be issued, and our offices will remain open and ready to assist you. IDHS is monitoring the situation and will continue to provide updates. #GovernmentShutdownLooms #GovernmentShutdownImpact #GovernmentShutdownThreat #EBTBenefitsWoes #FederalShutdown #SNAPBenefits #SNAPLife #SNAPTalk11Share
