🚛 CVSA International Roadcheck Week is Here – May 12-14, 2026!
Heads up, truckers, fleet operators, and commercial drivers in our community! The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance’s (CVSA) biggest annual safety initiative — International Roadcheck — kicks off this week across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
What to Expect:
• Enforcement officers will ramp up inspections at weigh stations, pop-up sites, and mobile patrols.
• Focus is on North American Standard Level I Inspections (the full 37-step check of driver and vehicle).
• Special emphasis this year:
◦ Driver focus: Electronic Logging Device (ELD) tampering, falsification, or manipulation.
◦ Vehicle focus: Proper cargo securement — loose or improperly secured loads are a major hazard to everyone on the road.
Why It Matters:
Roadcheck is the largest targeted commercial vehicle enforcement event in the world. Proper preparation keeps drivers safe, vehicles moving, and helps avoid costly out-of-service orders. Since 1988, it has conducted millions of inspections and promoted safer roads for all.
Quick Tips for Drivers & Carriers:
• Double-check ELDs are accurate and untampered.
• Verify all cargo is securely fastened and compliant with regulations.
• Ensure brakes, tires, lights, and paperwork are in top shape.
• Stay rested and follow Hours of Service rules.
