My Cat Thinks I’m the Center of the Universe
Ever notice how pets have this uncanny ability to make you feel like the most important being on the planet? My cat, for example, acts like I’m some kind of VIP every time I walk through the door. She’ll ignore everyone else, but the second I sit down, she’s there—purring, kneading, demanding my undivided attention.
It’s wild how a creature that spends half the day plotting to knock over my water glass can also make me feel so loved. Maybe it’s just the food, or maybe (just maybe) I’m actually her favorite human. Either way, it’s a reminder that sometimes, being precious isn’t about grand gestures. Sometimes it’s just about being the person your pet chooses to nap on.
