An email from our VP, practically bursting with pride over our 'hard work'—and to celebrate, we’re getting an in-person pizza party. Honestly, I never thought I'd see the day when a slice of pepperoni was supposed to make up for months of late nights and missed weekends. Do they really think melted cheese is the answer to burnout? It’s not about the pizza. It’s about management thinking a quick party can fix everything. Maybe they should try reading the room before sending out these emails.
