bmatthews+FollowDid You Ever Experience "The Shift"?I don't really know what else to call it, but for me, "The Shift" happened right after I turned 35. It felt a lot more sudden than I expected. I remember a specific doctor's appointment. The doctor walked in, and I immediately thought, "This guy looks really young. Must be an intern." Nope. He was my doctor, and I later found out he was 33 – two years younger than me. From then on, it was like my perspective kept changing. I started realizing how incredibly young everyone looked on the local news or even on billboards for attorneys and realtors. It's so bizarre and hard to explain. Logically, I know younger people are in these professions, but my brain just struggles with the jarring reality that the "grown-ups" now include people who seem so young to me. Has anyone else gone through something like this? How old were you when it happened? #LifeChanges #Aging #Perspective #FeelingOld #AdultingFail #EverydayLife 210114Share
Adam Rich+FollowGot an old dime from the 19th century as change from a gas stationI stopped at this small gas station the other day to use the bathroom. On my way out I grabbed some jerky, paid, and headed back to my car. I tossed the change onto the seat without really looking at it. A few minutes later, while I was sitting there opening the jerky, I noticed one of the coins looked strange. It was darker and worn down in a way I hadn’t seen before. I picked it up and realized it was a dime from the 1800s. No idea if it’s valuable, but I think I’m going to hang onto it. 😂 #CoinCollecting #GasStationFind #EverydayLife #SmallTownStories #UnexpectedFinds #Money 33476Share
ElectricFeather+FollowDo You Get Sick a Lot Too?I've always wondered if it's just me or if other people get sick pretty often too. Sometimes it feels like I'm catching every cold that goes around! Is it normal to get sick a few times a year, or am I just unlucky? Curious what everyone else experiences. #HealthTalk #EverydayLife #Health #BodyHealth30Share
