Many people spend their time talking to God but never pause long enough ta listen. Prayer is not just presenting our requests; it is also creating space for God to speak wisdom, comfort, correction, and direction into our lives. When we slow down and become still, we begin ta recognize His voice guiding our steps. God speaks through His Word, through the Holy Spirit, through prayer, and sometimes through the people He places in our lives. The more time we spend with Him. the more familiar His voice becomes. Just as a loving spouse recognizes the voice of their partner, we learn to recognize the gentle whisper of our Heavenly Father.Today, take a moment to sit quietly before God. Bring your concerns, your questions, your dreams, and your fears. Then simply listen. Trust that He is near and that He cares deeply about every detail of your life. God is still speaking. The question is: Are we listening? #ConversationsWith God # Marriage TalkWith The Moores #Marriage4Lifelnstitute #Faith Based Marriage #Godly Marriage #MarriageMinistry #ChristianCouples

Forgiveness is not weakness it’s freedom…,πŸ’― Forgiveness is one of the greatest expressions of love and grace. Sometimes the hurt runs deep, and letting go can feel impossible, but God calls us to forgive just as He forgives us. Forgiveness does not mean forgetting the painβ€”it means surrendering the burden to God and choosing peace over bitterness. When we forgive, our hearts are healed, relationships can be restored, and we make room for God’s love to flow freely in our lives. Today, ask God to give you the strength to release every offense and walk in freedom. πŸ™πŸ’› β€œBe kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” – Ephesians 4:32 #Forgiveness #marriage4lifeinstitute #Faith #Healing #ChristianEncouragement

"Jesus wept" doesn't mean what I thought it meant (He was furious) 😭

We all know John 11:35, the shortest verse in the Bible: "Jesus wept." Whenever I faced loss, people used this verse to tell me that Jesus is sad when we are sad. And that's true. But I just dug into the original Greek word used to describe His emotions at Lazarus' tomb: enebrimesato. It doesn't mean a quiet, sorrowful weeping. It literally translates to snorting with anger, like a warhorse preparing for battle. He was shuddering with rage. Jesus wasn't just mourning; He was furious. He was looking at the devastation, the grief, and the horrific reality of death, and He hated it. He was angry at what sin had done to His beautiful creation. When we lose the people we love, or when illness destroys our bodies, it is deeply comforting to know that God doesn't just casually pity us. He shares our absolute outrage at death. And then, He defeats it. #JesusWept #GriefAndHope #VictoryOverDeath #ChristianComfort #Faith
