The highlight for little ones is the chance to see the Shoreline Amphitheatre in action, watch trucks bustling along the nearby freeway, and observe ducks and geese along the way. 🚲 Additionally, the trail is mostly paved, making it stroller-friendly and suitable for toddlers on balance bikes. ℹ️ We started our adventure at Rock Street, where we embarked on a short loop that runs behind the Shoreline Amphitheatre. Let's dive into our experience at Coyote Hills: 🅿️ Limited Parking Options: - Onsite parking at Coyote Hills is quite limited, so be prepared. However, there is overflow parking available at Paseo Padre Parkway, which is about a mile from the start of the park. Don't worry, the short walk is totally worth it! 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️ 🏞️ Bayview Trail Magic: - We embarked on the Bayview Trail, a well-maintained pathway that is perfect for families with little ones and strollers. There are plenty of other trails to explore as well. 😅 Difficulty: Easy to moderate 🧢 No shade 🚗 Plenty of parking available, but fills up quickly. 🐶 Dogs are allowed on leash ✨Popular spot for families with kids. No cell service, but printed maps are available. Be cautious around cows as they can be easily startled. 4️⃣ Rock Formations: Unique rock formations add character to the trail. Climb the big rocks around the waterfall area, but no swimming or wading. 5️⃣ Dog-Friendly: Bring Fido along but keep them on a leash. The trail is also stroller accessible. Tips for a Great Experience: 1️⃣ Start early to avoid the heat, especially during warmer months.
