Stretching Hacks That Actually Work
I used to skip stretching, thinking it was a waste of time—until my back started yelling at me. Now, I keep it simple and actually feel way better. Here’s what’s helped:
🔸 Warm up first. Don’t stretch cold. Walk around or do a quick workout, then get into it.
🔸 Start basic. Try a gentle backbend: hands on your lower back, lean back, hold for a few seconds, then repeat. Feels great if you sit a lot.
🔸 Don’t forget your neck. Tilt your ear to your shoulder, hold, then switch sides. Easy way to release tension.
🔸 Seated toe touches are underrated. Sit in a chair, lean forward, and reach for the floor. No need to actually touch your toes—just stretch as far as you can.
