It was raining and getting dark, which made me super nervous, but my instructor was so kind and really helped me relax. I finally drove on real streets, at night, in the rain—and nobody honked! everettkathleen+FollowFirst Driving Lesson Disaster 😩Ugh, today was my first driving lesson, and it was a total disaster. 😖 My reaction time was awful, I stalled the car countless times, and I couldn’t even start it or move 8 out of 10 tries. I’m so embarrassed and feel like a total failure. I can’t believe how awkward it was. I’m worried the instructor thinks I’m slow. Has anyone else been through this? I know everyone starts somewhere, but it’s so hard not to feel defeated. Any tips or words of encouragement would be super appreciated.
