Accidentally Adopted: Now I’m a Cat Parent

So, I went to the shelter just to ‘look around’ (famous last words, right?). Fast forward 24 hours and there’s a tiny furball currently using my laptop as a bed and my hoodie as a scratching post. I have no idea what I’m doing. Every time I Google ‘how to cat,’ I get conflicting advice. Am I supposed to let her sleep on my face? Is it normal for her to zoom around at 3am like she’s possessed? Why does she stare at me like she’s plotting my demise? If you’ve got survival tips for a clueless new cat parent, I’m all ears (and apparently, so is my cat).
