finding the cheapest european city to fly into from the us
I’ve been digging through flight options for our big Europe trip next year, and honestly, it’s been a bit of a headache. I’m on the east coast, so I figured there’d be plenty of deals, but the prices are all over the place. I’ve spent evenings bouncing between travel sites, and every time I think I’ve found a good fare, it jumps up or disappears. It’s like playing whack-a-mole with airline prices!
From what I’ve seen, Dublin and Paris seem to pop up with the lowest fares most often. I even found a flight to Dublin that was $200 cheaper than anything to London, which makes no sense to me since London is usually a major hub. But then, when I checked again a few days later, the price had flipped. It’s almost like the airlines are messing with us on purpose.
I’m curious if anyone else has a go-to city they always use as their entry point to Europe just because it’s reliably cheaper. Maybe there’s a hidden gem I’m missing? I’d love to hear if anyone’s cracked the code on this, or if we’re all just at the mercy of the airline roulette. Sometimes I wonder if it’s even worth trying to outsmart these prices, or if I should just pick a city and hope for the best. I mean, is there really a secret, or is it just luck of the draw?
