Crumbs - Enjoying a sunny breakfast in historic Danville

Location: Old Downtown Danville for a popular brunch spot! Walked in at 7:30 AM and by 8 AM, plenty of customers have trickled in; clearly Americans love their breakfast! Crumbs really stands out among the many breakfast spots in Danville: it opens earliest at 7 AM; and you can order alcohol with breakfast! Caught a glimpse of the guys at the bar munching and sipping, and included in picture 8 is their popular wine - it looks pretty good! Here's what we ordered: *Smoke Salmon, $19 - Smoked salmon omelet! The eggs were golden and tenderly cooked; surprising addition of scallions, tasted mildly flavored, but since the smoked salmon was quite salty, it balanced the flavors out! The sides came with options of potatoes and bread - because of the large portion, I skipped the bread and just took the potatoes! *Ube Pancake, $15.75 - Purple yam pancakes! Strong aroma, vibrant color, and sweet in taste—went pretty great with the slightly sour fresh fruits! Since checking in, I've found the color of dishes in popular spots is definitely better than less popular ones; there's truth to the saying "we eat with our eyes first!" In summary: Tasty food, cozy vibe, expect to spend around $25 per person on average! 🚩Crumbs Breakfast, Lunch & Bar 428 Railroad Ave suite b, Danville, CA 94526 #CrumbsBreakfast #DanvilleEats #BreakfastSpot #FoodieFinds #BrunchTime #FoodPhotography #FoodReview #DanvilleCA

😍 I'm absolutely smitten with the Barrel Noodles

The other day, I went to eat at Four Sister Ice Flower Pan-Fried Dumplings in Newark. 🥟 Here's my review of the dishes I ordered: 1. Spicy crayfish noodles: This dish is incredibly rich and the portion of crayfish is generous. However, if you eat too much, it might get a bit greasy. I especially liked the half egg added to it, which added more texture and flavor to the dish. 🦞 2. Tomato beef stew: This is a flavorful dish with a strong tomato taste. The combination of beef, potatoes, and carrots left a deep impression on me. We couldn't finish it all, so the next day I used it to make a tomato noodle dish, and it still tasted delicious. 🍅 3. Sweet and sour pork: This sweet and sour pork is a perfect choice for fans of Northeastern-style sweet and sour flavors. However, if you're not a fan of food that's sweetened, you might find it a bit too sweet. 🐷 4. Stone pot noodles and rice noodles: The stone pot noodles and rice noodles at this restaurant are also very famous. They have a unique goose stone pot, and when the dish is served, the meat, vegetables, and noodles are all separated. Then, they heat up the stone and pour it into the pot, cooking the soup, vegetables, and noodles together. I tried the Sichuan pepper flavored noodles and the spicy rice noodles, and both were delicious. The portions of the accompanying vegetables were also generous, making it a very satisfying meal. 🌶️ Overall, my experience at Four Sister Ice Flower Pan-Fried Dumplings in Newark was a great one. Each dish had its own unique characteristics. If you enjoy rich tomato flavors or sweet and sour tastes, this place is definitely worth a try. And their stone pot noodles and rice noodles are also a highlight, both the spicy and Sichuan pepper flavors are good! 💯 #FoodReview #Dumplings #ChineseCuisine #TomatoBeefStew #SweetAndSourPork #StonePotNoodles #RiceNoodles #NewarkEats #FoodieFavorites

Tried This Chicken Brand—Worth the Hype?

So, I caved and bought that chicken brand everyone keeps posting about. You know the one—fancy packaging, promises of being extra juicy, and apparently raised on a diet of classical music and affirmations. I’m not a food snob, but I do want my chicken to taste like, well, chicken. First bite: honestly, not bad. The texture was legit, and it didn’t have that weird aftertaste some brands sneak in. But is it life-changing? Did it make me rethink my entire relationship with poultry? Not exactly. Still, it’s a solid upgrade from the mystery meat I used to buy on sale. Would I recommend it? If you’re bored of bland chicken and want to feel a little fancy on a Tuesday night, go for it. Just don’t expect a spiritual awakening. Anyone else tried it? Am I missing something, or is this just good marketing? #FoodReview #ChickenBrand #TasteTest #Foodie #GlobalEats #Food

Crispy Wings

Wings hit the table, and there’s this immediate urge to analyze every detail. The skin needs to be crisp, almost glassy, with a solid crunch that doesn’t give way to grease. The sauce matters—a balanced heat, not just a sugar bomb or a vinegar punch. When wings are done right, the meat pulls clean from the bone, but there’s still a bit of resistance. That’s the sweet spot. I pay attention to the texture of the breading, the ratio of sauce to wing, and even the aroma that rises up before the first bite. There’s a real craft to getting wings just right. Too many places drown them in sauce or fry them until they’re dry. The best wings keep things simple: quality chicken, a well-made sauce, and proper technique. Every bite should remind you why this dish has such a following. No shortcuts, just solid execution. #Cooking Techniques #WingNight #CrispyChicken #FoodReview #Food

🏙️ Trip to Las Vegas: Honest Evaluation and Sharing of Xiang Tian Xia Hot Pot!

**Hello everyone! Today I want to share a memorable dining experience in Las Vegas - at the Hong Tian Xia Hot Pot located in Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas.** 🍲 **Here, we tried the tasting menu for $169 per person and paired it with three rounds of $58 wine pairing. The wine was also good, not too sharp.** 🍷 **Please rest assured, this review is completely unbiased and based on my own dining experience hahaha!** 🍲 **Broth: Spicy, Chicken, and Lobster - all three were amazing.** **First, let's talk about the broth. We ordered three different broths: Spicy, Chicken, and Lobster, and each one brought a different deliciousness. Although I usually only like spicy, I have to admit that the Chicken broth was really delicious. I couldn't stop drinking bowl after bowl of the chicken broth, it was that good!** 🍲 **Generous portions filled with satisfaction.** **The portion of the hot pot tasting menu was really huge, making sure you leave the table with a full stomach. This is a great blessing for a foodie like me.** 🍲 **Highlight appetizers: Black Swan Durian Pastry and Foie Gras.** **Before enjoying the hot pot, we also tasted some stunning appetizers, including the Black Swan Durian Pastry, Wagyu Beef Tartare, and Foie Gras. These three dishes were all very delicious. The Black Swan Durian Pastry was a perfect combination of sweetness and crispiness; although I don't eat raw beef, I still tasted some Wagyu Beef Tartare. I was pleasantly surprised that it had no strange taste, it was just extremely delicious. The Foie Gras exhibited a rich texture and flavor.** 🍲 **Meat selection: Wagyu Beef and Seafood Platter.** **The portion of the Wagyu Beef was also quite large, truly worth the price. In addition, the large prawns in the seafood platter were also very delicious, fresh and juicy.** 🍲 **The final fire cooking: Black Truffle Egg Fried Rice and Beef Bone Marrow Fried Rice.** **Lastly, we ordered the Black Truffle Egg Fried Rice and Beef Bone Marrow Fried Rice, and their aroma was simply mouthwatering. Both of these main dishes were not only full of fragrance, but also had very generous portions, to the point that we had to pack them and enjoy them as a delicious breakfast the next morning!** 🍲 **In conclusion, the dining experience at Hong Tian Xia Hot Pot was a memorable culinary journey. Whether you are a hot pot enthusiast or someone looking to try new flavors, this place will satisfy your taste buds. Although the price is slightly high, the quality and quantity of the food are definitely worth it. If you plan to have a great time in Las Vegas, consider giving Hong Tian Xia Hot Pot a try - it will be a highlight of your food adventure!** #LasVegasFoodie #HotPotExperience #HongTianXia #FoodReview #CulinaryJourney #DeliciousFood #MemorableExperience #FoodieHeaven #Mouthwatering #FoodAdventure

Noodle Dynasty • Affordable Ox Bone Noodles in Berkeley

Discovered this Chinese noodle spot near UC Berkeley. The prices have caught my eye: 24-hour slow-cooked ox bone noodles for $18.99? Pickled cabbage and fish soup noodles for $13.99? This is undoubtedly an affordable place! Not too long ago, I paid $31.45 for the same ox bone noodles at Farmhouse! Let’s talk about taste after price! I've only tried two signature dishes from the menu: * Special ox bone noodles, slow-cooked for 24 hours. The amount of meat is generous, and it's so tender, it's worth the price just for the meat! Plus, the noodles are chewy. The soup base is average, it sort of lacks that rich bone broth flavor and tastes a bit artificial, but given the price of $18.99, can't be too picky. This huge bowl of noodles is a great deal! * Pickled cabbage and fish soup noodles, generous pieces of fish and loads of pickled cabbage. They don’t skimp on the ingredients! One downside: the soup base is too salty! I assume the kitchen team is from Sichuan as their seasoning is quite heavy. In Conclusion: For a street-side noodle shop, the portions are large, prices very reasonable. Those into strong flavors will probably love it; if you prefer lighter flavors, you might find it a tad overwhelming! 🚩Noodle Dynasty 2426 Telegraph Ave, Berkeley, CA 94704 #NoodleDynasty #AffordableEats #BerkeleyEats #OxBoneNoodles #ChineseFood #FoodReview #NoodleSpot #Foodie
