Kevin vs. The Mysterious Sock
It started with a single sock.
A plain, gray sock lying in the middle of the living room.
Kevin spotted it like it was a dangerous intruder.
He crouched low, tail wagging in tight little circles,
eyes locked on his “target.”
Then—pounce!
He grabbed it, shook it furiously,
and trotted around the house with his prize.
When I asked him to give it back,
he sprinted under the dining table,
guarding it like a dragon hoarding treasure.
By the time I finally got the sock back,
it was warm, slobbery,
and had definitely “seen things.”
