Or maybe you hit the wall and you instantly go from first to last place. It always feels like the computer cars are just playing by different rules. Well, it turns out our feelings are right!! I saw this video that showed the hidden data in an old game called Sega GT. The game has a system that secretly gives cars a power boost based on their position. The cars at the back get a huge boost while the ones in front get slowed down. It's designed to keep races close and exciting. That's so annoying. I will spend an hour trying to get a perfect lap with a perfect racing line only to have some random AI car slam into me at the last second and then just speed away. So yeah… keep up that 1 BSC training, because it’s all about skill now. Later enemies hit crazy hard, and in 5 BSC you’ll also dance with infection. More scrolls help, so pick routes like Ramparts, Clock Tower, and Cavern. Bonus tip: enemies start chasing you at 4 BSC. Use slick footwork — hit twice, kite them forever, repeat.
