Caring for My Mother: When Her Choices Become My Burden

Sometimes I feel trapped by the life I never chose. My mother never saved for retirement, and now I’m the one carrying the weight of her decisions. It’s hard not to feel angry or resentful when my own dreams are put on hold so I can care for her. I wonder if it’s wrong to feel this way, or if others have felt the same.
