The Lunch That Doesn’t Smell Like Regret
Office lunches can be brutal. There’s always that guy microwaving fish, and there’s always someone sadly chewing on lettuce like a rabbit. I don’t want to be either of them.
So I started making wraps. Whole wheat tortilla, smear of hummus, some chicken from last night, spinach, cucumbers, olives, sprinkle of feta. Roll it, cut it, done.
It doesn’t stink up the breakroom. It doesn’t make me look like I’m punishing myself with “diet food.” And it tastes good enough that my coworkers keep asking, “Where’d you buy that?”
The truth? Half the time it’s just leftovers in disguise. But hey, presentation is everything.
