🎄❤️ A Florence Holiday Tradition That Warms Every Heart ❤️🎄
Each year, the Mayor’s Holiday Card Delivery brings our community together in the spirit of kindness and cheer. Handmade cards created by Florence students (K–8) and residents are collected and personally delivered to local senior living communities by Mayor Aubuchon, Police Chief Mallery, and Mrs. Claus. 🎅🤶
These messages remind our seniors that they are remembered, appreciated, and deeply connected to the Florence community during the holiday season. 💌 The tradition also includes a student card contest with fun prizes, with submissions typically due in mid-November and winners announced at the City’s Christmas Tree Lighting. 🎄✨
This year, the group made a special pit stop at Stringtown Park to visit with kids, share smiles, and spread a little extra holiday magic along the way. 🎁✨ At one of our senior living homes, we were also delighted to meet some lovable four-legged friends. 🐾❤️
