It Really Works! 🍌☕️ I tried the viral Korean-style banana milk latte

This trend’s been all over TikTok and Instagram lately, and after seeing it pop up in Korean 7-Elevens and coffee pages nonstop, I had to try making my own. Since I couldn’t get the prepackaged banana milk from H-Mart, I made it from scratch — and honestly, it might be my new favorite way to drink coffee. Here’s what I did: 🥄 Caramelized one banana with brown sugar and a splash of water 🥛 Blended it into whole milk (don’t judge me) ✨ Added vanilla + a pinch of cinnamon ☕️ Poured it over ice with a double shot of stovetop espresso 👉 Stirred and sipped — heaven. It’s creamy, slightly sweet, nostalgic, and the banana-coffee combo actually works. Best part? It tastes like something from a fancy café, but way cheaper. Have you tried this yet? Would you go for banana milk in your latte? #BananaMilkLatte #CoffeeTrends #Homemade #KoreanCoffee #Coffee #TikTokMadeMeDoIt #FoodExperiments #IcedLatte

Creamiest Baked Mac n Cheese Ever

Boil your favorite pasta until just al dente, then drain and set aside. In a big saucepan, melt butter and whisk in flour to make a roux. Let it cook for a minute, then slowly pour in milk, whisking constantly until smooth and thickened. Stir in sharp cheddar, a little mozzarella, and a handful of Colby Jack until melted and creamy. Add a pinch of salt, pepper, and a little paprika for that Southern kick. Mix the cheese sauce with your pasta, pour it all into a buttered baking dish, and top with more cheese and some breadcrumbs. Bake at 375°F until bubbly and golden on top. That crispy crust is everything! Homemade mac n cheese is pure comfort, and honestly, nothing beats the smell filling your kitchen. #macncheese #homemade #cooking #Food

CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 🍪✨

Swipe right to see how these turn out 👀 I’ve been making these for years - it’s my go-to recipe. There are a few key tips for this recipe which I’ve outlined in the method. Here's what you'll need: - 280g plain flour - 1/4 tsp salt - 2 tsp cornflour - 1 flat tsp bicarbonate soda - 200g light brown sugar - 100g caster sugar - 1 medium egg - 200g butter - 2 tsp vanilla extract - 250g chocolate chips or chopped up chocolate Method: 1. Combine the flour, salt, cornflour, and bicarbonate soda in a mixing bowl. 2. Melt the butter in the microwave until just melted, then leave to cool slightly. 3. Add the sugar to the melted butter and whisk until well combined. 4. Add the vanilla extract and egg to the butter-sugar mixture and whisk again. 5. Mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until well combined. 6. If the dough is warm, let it cool slightly, then add the chocolate chips. 7. Scoop the dough into large ice cream scoop-sized balls and place them on a cling film-lined plate. 8. Cover the dough balls and let them chill in the fridge for 1-2 hours or in the freezer for 20 minutes. 9. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius fan. 10. Transfer the chilled dough balls to a baking paper-lined tray, leaving plenty of space between them as they will spread during baking. 11. Bake for approximately 9-12 minutes, banging the tray halfway through cooking on a hard surface. (9 minutes will result in gooey cookies, 12 minutes will make them more set.) 12. Let the cookies cool before enjoying! Additional Tips: - You can customize these cookies by substituting the milk chocolate with half & half milk/white chocolate or just white chocolate. You can also add 30g of mini marshmallows to create the s'mores version. - These cookies freeze perfectly for up to 3 months. Portion out the raw dough into balls, chill, and place them in a ziplock bag. When ready to bake, add an additional 2-3 minutes to the baking time. You can even bake them straight from frozen! #chocolatechipcookies #homemade #baking #recipe #chocolate #foodphotography #dessert #cookies #yum #sweettreats

Hubs Plate Got All the Flavor—Homemade Flautas Night

Start by prepping your filling—shredded chicken, a little cheese, and some sautéed onions work wonders. Warm up your tortillas so they’re nice and pliable, then roll up the filling tight. Secure with a toothpick if you need to. Pan-fry those flautas until golden and crispy on all sides. Don’t skip this step; it’s what makes them irresistible! While they’re frying, whip up some fresh pico de gallo. Just chop tomatoes, onions, cilantro, and jalapeño, then squeeze in lime juice and season with salt. Plate it all up for your hubs—crispy flautas, a big scoop of pico, and maybe a dollop of sour cream. Nothing beats homemade, especially when you see that happy plate! #foodoflemon8 #homemade #picodegallo #Food #Cooking
