Energizing weekend breakfast
Woke up craving something hearty, so I threw together a breakfast burger that hit the spot. Started with a fresh ground beef patty, seasoned it with salt, pepper, and a pinch of smoked paprika. Cooked it in a cast iron skillet until the edges got a nice crust. While the burger rested, I fried up a hash brown patty—super crispy is key.
Toasted a brioche bun in the pan for extra flavor. Layered everything: bun, hash brown, burger, sharp cheddar, egg, and a few slices of avocado. The textures really come together, especially with the crispy hash brown and creamy egg yolk. If you want the cheese extra melty, cover the pan for a minute after adding it to the burger. This one’s a solid breakfast move when you want something more than just eggs and toast.
