is this maldives honeymoon package really worth $3k?

I’ve been planning our big trip to the Maldives for what feels like forever, and I finally found a package that sounds almost too good to be true: four nights at Angsana Velavaru, all meals included, for $3,000. We’d get two nights in a beachfront villa with our own infinity pool, then two nights in an overwater villa (which I’ve always dreamed about!). They throw in a bunch of extras—like a bottle of wine, a fruit platter, a special dinner on the beach, a floating breakfast, and even a 30-minute massage for both of us. Plus, all the transfers and taxes are covered, and there’s free snorkeling, water sports, and daily entertainment. But here’s where I’m stuck: I keep hearing that the Maldives is expensive, but is this actually a good deal, or am I missing something? Part of me wonders if I’m paying too much just for the name or if there’s a hidden catch. I mean, $3,000 is a lot for four nights, even if it’s paradise. Has anyone stayed at Angsana Velavaru or found a better deal somewhere else? I’m tempted to keep looking, but I also don’t want to lose this booking if it’s really as good as it sounds. Sometimes I feel like these packages are just designed to lure us in with fancy extras that we don’t even end up using. Has anyone else felt this way when booking a big trip? #Maldives #TravelQuestions #HoneymoonPlanning #Travel

flying to zurich: will we get stranded in switzerland?

My fiancé and I are planning our honeymoon in Switzerland, and honestly, I’m both excited and a little nervous. We’re flying from New Orleans to Zurich in late January, and we already booked our Airbnb in Bern. Here’s the thing: most flights land either way too early (like 8 to 11 am) or way too late (after 5 pm). Our Airbnb check-in isn’t until 3 pm, but the train from Zurich to Bern takes about an hour and a half, and I keep reading that Swiss trains and buses stop running around 5 pm. So now I’m stuck: do we risk landing early and wandering around Zurich with our suitcases, just waiting for check-in? Or do we land late and pray the trains are still running so we don’t end up stranded at the airport? I’m a bit anxious since it’s our first international trip, and I really don’t want our honeymoon to start with us sleeping on a bench at the Zurich train station! Has anyone actually landed in Zurich in the evening and managed to catch a train to Bern (or somewhere about that far)? Or is it safer to beg our Airbnb host for an early check-in if we go with the early flight? I’d love to hear your real experiences—especially if you’ve had to kill time in Zurich or scramble for a late train. I know I’m probably overthinking, but I can’t help it. Anyone else ever feel like the travel logistics are more stressful than the trip itself? #SwitzerlandTravel #ZurichToBern #TravelWorries #HoneymoonPlanning #TrainTravel #Travel
