To Key Food Corporate Management: I am writing to formally report a deeply troubling and unacceptable incident of racial profiling and harassment that occurred at a Key Food location on November 20, 2025. Approximately 5-10 minutes after beginning my shopping, an employee identified as Ishmael confronted me, stating I was banned from the premises. When I requested an explanation, he falsely accused me of shoplifting eye drops five months prior and claimed to possess video footage he was unable to produce. During this confrontational interaction involving security officers, the employee's narrative became inconsistent and confusing, further undermining his allegations. When I requested that the police be called to resolve the matter, the employee escalated the situation by using a severe racial slur directed at me. When the police arrived, the employee shifted his accusation to claim I was impersonating an officer and introduced unrelated, fabricated incidents in what appeared to be an attempt to justify his discriminatory behavior. Consequently, the police were asked to escort me from the store premises. The actions and language used by this employee were racist, unprofessional, and in direct violation of my rights as a customer. I experienced targeted discrimination and racial profiling. My family has been loyal patrons of Key Food for nearly 60 years. The behavior exhibited by staff at this location fundamentally contradicts the ethical standards and mission your company presumably aims to uphold. I have attempted to contact corporate management regarding this grave matter multiple times without success. I am demanding an immediate and thorough investigation into this incident, the employee's conduct, and the location's adherence to proper customer service protocols and anti-discrimination policies. I expect a prompt and substantive response addressing these serious concerns. Sincerely,YF #BreakingNews #Brooklyn #keyfood #RacialProfiling #HumanResources

“We’re Hiring!” — But Are You Really?" Many companies continue to post the same roles repeatedly, move candidates through multiple interview rounds, and then go silent — despite claiming these positions are urgent. From a professional standpoint, this isn’t just frustrating — it’s harmful. Behind every application is a real person. Someone investing hours preparing, researching the company, arranging childcare, and showing up genuinely engaged. When applicants are ghosted after interviews, especially after several rounds, the impact is real: • Financial stress • Emotional exhaustion • Loss of confidence • Growing distrust in the hiring process If a role is paused, say it. If budgets change, say it. If another candidate is selected, say it. Ghosting is not a hiring strategy. Silence is not professionalism. Transparency is. Job seekers aren’t asking for guarantees — they’re asking for honesty and basic respect. If you’ve experienced this — as a candidate or a hiring professional — share your perspective. Awareness is the first step toward change. #JobSearch #HiringTransparency #Recruitment #JobSeekers #CareerAdvice #WorkplaceCulture #HumanResources #ProfessionalRespect
