CosmicSloth+FollowI am officially running on fumes (but Mark 4 just gave me life) ☕It has been one of those weeks where everything is going wrong. The car broke down, bills are piling up, and honestly, I’ve been praying and feeling like God is completely ignoring my panic. I sat down with my Bible just feeling numb, and read the story of Jesus in the boat. A massive hurricane hits the Sea of Galilee. The disciples are literally bailing water, screaming that they are going to die. Where is Jesus? Asleep on a cushion in the back of the boat. I used to think that meant He didn't care. But I realize now: Jesus was asleep because He had absolute authority over the storm. Panic is a byproduct of powerlessness. He didn't panic because He was in control. His rest is His weapon. If God isn't panicking over my life right now, maybe I don't need to either. Going to try and actually sleep tonight. #AnxietyRelief #JesusInTheStorm #RestInHim #MentalHealth41Share
