Jesus didn’t just "snap" in the temple (He sat down and made a weapon) 😳

We love to focus on "Gentle Jesus, meek and mild." But the story of Him clearing the temple is so much more hardcore than I ever realized. I was reading the Gospel of John, and it notes that Jesus found the merchants exploiting the poor. He didn't just fly into a blind rage and flip tables in the heat of the moment. The text implies He took the time to sit down and physically braid a whip out of cords. It was a calculated, premeditated act of absolute authority. He was meticulously driving out a corrupt religious business that was gatekeeping God from the vulnerable. Jesus doesn't tolerate systems that use His name to rob people. Knowing that He fights for the exploited with that kind of fierce, calculated intensity gives me chills. #RighteousAnger #BiblicalTruth #JesusTheKing #ChurchHistory
