Runa Wolfheart (Rúna Úlfhjarta)+FollowQuestions Raised by Testimony in the Karmelo Anthony Trial. Following the Karmelo Anthony trial in Collin County, I’m struck by some of the details and inconsistencies emerging from witness accounts about the incident at the Frisco track meet. Testimony indicated Anthony had a pocket knife (a 3.5-inch multi-tool) at the school event. While reportedly legal under Texas law for its size, it has raised questions about school event policies. Multiple witnesses described Anthony refusing requests to leave the opposing team’s tent during the rain delay, with some accounts mentioning a statement like “touch me and see what happens” before a reported push from Austin Metcalf led to the fatal chest stabbing. Several teen witnesses for the prosecution said there was no group attack or immediate deadly threat, while cross-examinations highlighted discrepancies in some defense witness statements — such as details about the sequence of events and positioning. This remains a tragic loss for the Metcalf family and the community. Accurate and consistent testimony is essential as the case heads toward closing arguments. Has anyone else been following closely?
