Pelicana Chicken • The Original Korean Fried Chicken Since 1982

Talking today about Pelicana, a hot 🔥 Korean fried chicken spot at Cupertino-Main. Founded in 1982, and dubbed as 'The-Best-from-Korea.' It's known as the OG, only using the freshest top-tier chicken! Not sure if it's the best but, it's definitely delicious! Here's their 3-step ordering process: Choose your chicken: Bone-in, boneless, or chicken wings! Choose your quantity: Half order (9 pieces), full order (18 pieces)! Choose your sauce: Three spice levels, Signature, Garlic, Soybean paste, Cheese - 7 options in total! We ordered two half orders of bone-in chicken with Signature and Garlic sauce! The chicken was tender & flavorful, and the crust was crispy. The honey sauce was rich, and the garlic one was a bit spicy (kid-friendly level of spice). Eating the meat and sucking the bones was a great experience, definitely a good spot 👍! 📍Pelicana Chicken 19540 Vallco Pkwy Ste , Cupertino, CA 95014 #PelicanaChicken #KoreanFriedChicken #TheBestFromKorea #ChickenLovers #DeliciousFood #CupertinoEats #FoodieLife #CravingChicken

Korean Fried Chicken vs. My Self-Control

I thought I had willpower. Then I made Korean fried chicken (Joshua Weissman’s recipe) and Maangchi’s spicy cucumber salad. Let’s just say, self-control didn’t stand a chance. The chicken came out shatteringly crisp, the kind of crunch you hear across the room. The cucumbers? Spicy, tangy, and so refreshing they basically demanded a second helping. I tried to save some for tomorrow. I really did. But somehow, between the sauce-drenched bites and the cold, fiery cucumbers, my fridge ended up empty. No regrets, just a lingering chili burn and the deep, existential knowledge that I am powerless before the gods of Korean comfort food. Anyone else ever cook something so good you immediately lose all sense of moderation? Asking for a friend (and my future grocery bill). #KoreanFriedChicken #Maangchi #JoshuaWeissman #Food #Foodie
