Does disliking your partner's family spell doom for your marriage? For me, it did. 😢👫

I firmly believe that not liking your partner's family can lead to the breakdown of your relationship or marriage. In my case, it's absolutely true. My mother - in - law has always had a terrible personality. She even abused my husband when he was a child. Even now that we're married, she treats me and my son rudely. Whenever this happens, my husband, due to the trauma from his childhood, never stands up for us. I'm exhausted. I've thought about divorce more than once.
