Psalm 88 ends without hope. And that matters.

Psalm 88 is strange. No praise at the end. No turnaround. Just darkness. I wanted to skip it. But that’s exactly why it stayed with me. This psalm gives language to pain that doesn’t resolve quickly. It reminds me that faith doesn’t always sound hopeful. God allowed a prayer with no happy ending to be part of Scripture.
