Thomas Clark+FollowMy landlord just shut off the water for the entire building because of a single tenantI can't believe this is happening again. This is now the second time I have come home to no water at my apartment. The note my landlord left says the water is shut off to the entire building because of a single tenant who won't allow them to enter her apartment to fix a leak. It's been off for over ten hours now. It seems insane that a whole building has to go without water because of one person. What about all the people with kids and pets in the building? This has to be weird and probably illegal. Does anyone have any insight on what I can do about this? #LandlordProblems #TenantRights #ApartmentLiving #Renting #LegalAdvice #Home 105115Share
Thomas Clark+FollowYou won't believe how my apartment management shames late renters! 🤬🙄 This is outrageousYou guys, our management actually put a flyer on a neighbor's door that screamed "Guess Who Owes Rent? YOU!!" It even had a laughing emoji printed right on it, complete with the actual amount due, just hanging out there for the whole world to see! I am absolutely disgusted and beyond angry. Times are incredibly tough for so many people right now. I understand apartments aren't free, but where is the basic human decency? This information could have been handled with a shred of privacy and respect, not in this mocking, public display of shame. We are all just one paycheck away from a nightmare, and to openly torment and mock someone for struggling is absolutely barbaric and cruel. I cannot believe this stunt actually got approved by anyone in charge of handing out notices. What's even crazier is this isn't even an original idea! I've seen this exact same disgusting tactic on the news before, used against a single mom who had lost her job. You have got to be kidding me. #ApartmentLife #LandlordProblems #RentalLife #Disgusted #Seriously #ApartmentLiving 3344Share
Lisa Collins+FollowIs it legal for landlords to monitor me with cameras?Am I overreacting, or is this just creepy? 😤 My landlord installed a camera in the living room without telling me. I get the whole "safety first" thing, especially after one of the previous tenants asked for it. But now, he’s watching me. He actually called me out for taking too long in the bathroom—because he’s tracking my time! I was just in there for a few minutes, taking a quick shower, and somehow, he knows exactly how long it took. The worst part? It feels like there’s zero privacy. Am I being paranoid, or is this crossing a line? Can landlords really monitor us this closely? #LandlordProblems #PrivacyIssues #TenanRights34105Share
